Mr. Fleming joined the United States Air Force and was sta-tioned at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington State. After his tour in the Air Force he became a resident of Spokane, Washington and became a Life Member of Blacks In Govern-ment He continued his education and graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and earned a Bachelor of Sci-ence Degree in Business Administration. He also studied at Luther Rice Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity and Counseling Degree.

Upon relocating to Jacksonville, FL, Deacon Fleming became a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church where he served as a Deacon, taught Sunday School and headed the Singles Ministry. He also joined and became an active, devoted and much loved Life Member of the Jackson-ville First Coast Chapter of Blacks In Government where he held the positions of Second Vice President and Treasurer.

He was loved by all that knew him, and well known as “Mighty Fine”
