Francis Cox
1945 - 2002

Frances was a long time supporter of EPA's Black Employment Program and a charter member of Chicago's New Kemet Harambe chapter of B.I.G. Her Federal career was dedicated to serving EPA Region 5, starting in 1991 in a temporary position, working in a variety of Human Resources functions until she was permanently appointed to the position of Conference Center Coordinator in 1993.

She achieved additional success in 1994 when she received the national Paul G. Keough Honor Award for Administrative Excellence and in 1999 when she was promoted to the position of Administrative Specialist, responsible for the full administration of all conference activities carried out in our 12th floor Conference Center. Frances played an invaluable role in the effectiveness of our conference administration function and was widely known across the region and in Headquarters for her efficiency, dedication and warm customer service approach.

She will be truly missed.
