John A. Fields, LTC, DCNG (Ret.)

On Tuesday, December 6, 2005. Beloved husband of Rubye S. Fields; father of Jeffery S. (Laurie) Fields. He is also survived by two grandchildren, John P. Fields and Katherine R. Fields; one brother, Henry Fields; a host of other relatives and many friends. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. at JOHNSON AND JENKINS FUNERAL HOME, 716 Kennedy St. N.W. and on Thursday, December 22, from 9 a.m. until time of service, 10:30 a.m. at the Peoples Community Baptist Church, 31 Norwood Rd., Silver Spring, MD. Interment Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the LTC John A. Fields DCNG Youth Leaders Camp Memorial Fund, 2001 East Capitol St., S.E., Washington, DC 20003.

John will be truly missed.
